We’re trying out a new host called Cloud (not to be confused with Apple’s iCloud) so we’re just starting with 7 songs to see how it holds up. As always, a proper, more organized update will go up on the “Take, If You Want A Slice” page when we’re back home. Between the incredibly slow wifi connections and spotty 3G coverage here, we’re having some issues getting some awesomeness uploaded. All photos are already up but we’re still sitting on a select few audio downloads from the Texas show, the entire audio of the Voodoo Fest set, and an actual download [as opposed to just the YouTube stream] of the Pretty Noose Voodoo video. Check back all week for updates !
We’re headed to New Orleans for Voodoo Fest. We have press passes and photo passes so we hope to do some decent over sharing all weekend

The Voodoo Experience website is adding a band a day to the 2011 line up and now has Social Distortion listed.

—-Our Upcoming Shows For 2011—-
We’ll be catching Soundgarden on 3 stops of the summer tour ! We’ll be at Newark on July 8th, Jones Beach on July 9th, and Denver on July 18th.
Both Meghan (Denver) and I (Jones Beach) are entered in the Photograph Soundgarden On Tour contest on TalentHouse.com so we’re hoping we get a chance to win, but win or lose we’ll post as much content here from our shows as we can !
We’ll also be attending both days of the PJ20 concert with Pearl Jam, and seeing Soundgarden one last time in 2011 (unless they announce more shows that include Florida) at this year’s Voodoo Experience festival in New Orleans on Halloween weekend.

We’ve added gallery pages for the 2011 Soundgarden summer tour. Check back during the tour for photos uploaded by other visitors, and upload photos from any show(s) you’re going to. The entire gallery is crowd-sourced with upload buttons and an email address for each show to upload photos to. You can even title the photo using the email’s subject line.

We have a custom Amazon MP3 store [link] up now, and we’ve started moving over our iTunes links from the old site. We’ll keep working on this page to add exclusives from each store and we’ll update the page weekly with any new music added to either store. See the work-in-progress store page.

SoundgardenWorld.com shows Soundgarden at New Orleans on 10.28.2011 but this may just be because that’s when the festival starts. The actual day they play may be different. The site has also announced a few other bands and is expected to announce more on the 16th or 17th. The rest of the lineup currently includes: Girl Talk, Ozomatli, X, Soul Rebels Brass Band, plus City and Colour,
GrungeReport posts Soundgarden tour update after TheVoodooExperience.com briefly lists them as part of this year’s lineup and then goes offline for “maintenance”.
SoundgardenWorld and ChrisCornell.com have no news updates about the festival, which will take place October 28-30 with or without Soundgarden.
The dates fall outside of Chris Cornell’s Australian solo tour.
