“Live To Rise” was also available for free in it’s first week on iTunes (which corresponds to the 2nd week Billboard numbers). While the song has twice the user reviews as the 2nd most reviewed Soundgarden song, iTunes decided not to chart the song during the free price point period. So while it can be assumed that it is the most downloaded Soundgarden track, it currently sits at #6 for most popular Soundgarden song on iTunes.

Chart Positions also depend on the success of other songs and albums, so a higher chart position [of one Soundgarden song versus another] does not necessarily indicate higher sales.

The song is being compared to Audioslave by some fans and it’s definitely a song that grows on you with more listens.  My personal favorite moments are the scream after the bridge and guitar solo, and I can’t get the chorus out of my head now.  There seems to be a slight difference in the 22 second part from the preview they first released, so this is possibly a radio-edit version of the track.
